Refund Policy

In short: We offer a free trial so you can experience the product
before paying. If something goes wrong on our end after you're on a paid plan,
we'll make it right. We don't offer refunds for forgetting to cancel or for
simply changing your mind — but we'll always listen and work with you fairly.
This policy applies to all paid subscriptions for DesignPalm products,
including DesignPalm Chat and
MarginStats. Payments are processed
by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.
1. Free Trial
All DesignPalm products offer a free trial period before any payment is
required. We strongly encourage you to use your trial to evaluate whether
the product fits your needs — no card is required to start.
If you decide not to continue after your trial, simply don't upgrade. No
charge will be made and no cancellation is needed.
2. When We Will Issue a Refund
We will issue a full or partial refund in the following situations:

Service outage or failure on our end — if a significant
technical failure on our side caused you to be unable to use the product
for an extended period during a paid billing cycle, we will refund a
proportional amount for the affected time.

Duplicate charge — if you were charged more than once
for the same billing period due to a billing error, we will refund the
duplicate amount immediately.

Charged after cancellation — if you were charged after
properly cancelling your subscription, we will refund that charge.

Goodwill — within 48 hours of first charge — if you
forgot to cancel before your trial converted to a paid plan and contact
us within 48 hours of the first charge, we will review your case and
typically issue a refund as a one-time goodwill gesture.
3. When We Do Not Issue Refunds
We generally do not issue refunds in the following situations:
- You changed your mind after using the product
- You forgot to cancel before the next billing cycle (beyond the 48-hour window above)
- You didn't use the product during a paid period
- Your business circumstances changed
- You found a different tool you prefer
Note: We set this policy knowing that our free trial gives
you full access to evaluate the product before committing. We believe that's
the fairest way to handle this — you try it, then you decide.
4. Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing dashboard.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you
will retain access to the product until that date and will not be charged
for the next cycle.
Cancelling does not automatically trigger a refund for the current period.
If you believe your situation warrants one, contact us and we will review it.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at
hello@designpalm.com with:
- Your account email address
- The product you were charged for
- The date and amount of the charge
- A brief explanation of what happened
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days. Approved
refunds are processed through Paddle and typically appear within 5–10
business days depending on your bank.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our products and business evolve. Changes will
be posted here with a revised date. Continued use of our products after
changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
